What I've learned from the work of William Eggleston

It seems like every where you turn today someone is talking about William Eggleston. His recent show at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art (At War With The Obvious, Feb 26th-July 28th, 2013) probably has a lot to do with that. While the subject matter of his work doesn’t exactly get me excited, it is his ability to compose that I find remarkable. His body of work is proof that extraordinary compositions live in the ordinary world.
