Fall Line Breaks is a collection of photographs created during a season of personal turmoil. During this time, the camera provided an escape, offering a brief respite from the increasingly difficult and overwhelming responsibilities of home.

Reflecting on these images now, I recognize my hesitation to fully trust the beauty I encountered. I sought to capture a landscape that could restore my faith, yet I approached it with the same caution I used to protect myself from heartache. The resulting images depict an internal landscape, one that seeks reassurance, approaches clarity, yet remains ill at ease.
